A Few Notes by Guests:

"Thank you so much for the note and the impeccable setup and performance at the dinner. This dinner was my 7th wine society dinner and, without question, the best I have attended."
-Tim Eldridge, General Manager at the Club at Spruce Peak

"Thank you and your team, for providing one of the most spectacular events that I have attended in my 40 years of Hotels and Clubs.  All our senses were engaged as we enjoyed the celebration of the best of what we do."
-David P. Nightingale, General Manager at The Peninsula Golf & Country Club

"I have attended many of the IWS dinners over the many years as a CMAA member and attend Chaine Dinners all over the US and in Canada.  Without any doubt, this was one of the best ever!  Please extend to your staff our appreciation of what an unbelievable job all of you did.  From the reception, to walking into the room, to the fabulous entertainment, the meal selections, and wine parings, everything was perfect!"
-Daniel J. Brennan, CCM/CCE General Manager/COO The Pittsburgh Golf Club

"I have told many, including Colin and Karl especially, that this year's wine society dinner was the finest that I have ever attended. Who would ever thought they would be tasting Charles Krug Generations while dining on Braised Pork Neck and listening to Led Zeppelin on violins.  I have never been to Texas prior, but if this is the way you guys do it in the long horn state, then I may have to visit more often."
-Michael MacDonald, CCM General Manager/COO

STRATEGIC PLANNING
In 2005, the Club began developing a strategic plan to guide the Board, committees, and management for the future. Currently, the Club is in the third of this series of strategic plans. These plans have guided committee and board decisions, eliminated agendas, and given management the tools to keep the Club moving forward.

The current strategic plan was adopted in the June of 2021 and was an innovative approach to the strategic planning process. Unlike the past two plans, this strategic plan has no set end date and is to be reviewed by the Board on an annual basis. This approach was utilized to adapt to the changing landscape of today's ever-changing environment. The basis of this strategic plan includes 13 mission statements created for each department and area of operation. Areas of operation identified within the Strategic Plan include Club governance and Board Finance, along with the 11 club departments. In 2022, a priority within the Strategic Plan was focused on membership. After careful deliberation by management, committees, and the Board, the Club elected to change the membership structure and adopt a ONE CLUB membership.

Example of A Department Mission Statement (Membership Department)
Delivering exceptional experiences and adhering to the Platinum Clubs of America selection criteria will perpetuate the rich history and traditions of the Club. Members will accept responsibility to support initiatives and introduce qualified candidates for membership. Invitations will be extended to community and business leaders to consider membership which lead to extraordinary relationships, while enhancing business and social networks. Diverse and relevant programs and events will compliment a commitment to unparalleled service.  Club leadership will focus on measured membership growth that supports fiscal responsibility and sustains long-term profits, as the Fort Worth Club cements its place as a Top 10 Platinum City Club in the nation

Adapting to Changing Times

"Honor the Past, Respect the Present, Plan for the Future"

INTRODUCTION OF ONE CLUB MEMBERSHIP
In October 2022, The Fort Worth Club will introduce a ratification to its' member structure, which has been in place since 1976. The new structure will set a new standard which will allow prospective members acess to an all-inclusive membership, including both the Athletic Center as well as member dining and social events. The reason for this change is to provide a more well rounded experience to the members to continue to separate the Club from its competition. As time has evolved, Club membership is a joint decision more than ever before and the evolution into ONE CLUB meets the business, social, and wellness needs of our members going forward.

The strategic plan addressed increasing our members' health span to meet their lifespan. In order to achieve this, wellness services were greatly enhanced.
